MPRE Preparation Guide Outline
MPRE Preparation: Overview
The two-hour MPRE examination is based on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct. Sixty multiple choice questions constitute the examination, but only fifty of the questions will be scored since ten of the questions, interspaced randomly throughout the examination, are non-scored. Most states require the MPRE for candidates to be accepted to the state’s bar, but the various state’s that mandate the examination require different scores for acceptance.
The guide is organized according to the topics listed to the left, in the guide outline.
In the sections of the guide focusing on print materials, the "location" provides the call number for a work. Clicking on the title takes a user to the relevant entry in the catalog. Where possible, guide sections about statutes link to the appropriate law.
