Form Books: Guide Outline

Form Books: Guide Introduction

This research guide is a selective guide to assist the legal researcher in knowing when and how to use form books. It is not comprehensive in scope or intended to be a catchall source, but rather to act as a starting point for the researcher to find additional sources and relevant information. The resources listed are those owned or available at the Cooley libraries.

The guide is organized according to the topics listed to the left, in the guide outline.

In the sections of the guide focusing on print materials, the "location" provides the call number for a work. Clicking on the title takes a user to the relevant entry in the catalog. Where possible, guide sections about statutes link to the appropriate law.

And please contact us if you have any questions or need further guidance.
