This guide is intended to introduce the reader to the variety of materials on legal ethics and professional responsibility available both in print in the Cooley Law Library collections, as well as online. This guide takes a general, national approach to the presentation of materials, rather than focusing on Michigan or any other particular state. (Direction to databases of individual state materials will be provided, however). Location holdings are noted: “L” represents Lansing, “AH” represents Auburn Hills, “GR” represents Grand Rapids, and “AA” represents Ann Arbor.

The guide is organized according to the topics listed to the left, in the guide outline. 

In the sections of the guide focusing on print materials, the "location" provides the call number for a work. Clicking on the title takes a user to the relevant entry in the catalog. Where possible, guide sections about statutes link to the appropriate law.
